Grateful and Guilty

Here is a short Gratitude Note we have written for Technology. For us, TECHNOLOGY is the guiltiest guilty pleasure. We have tried to express our guiltiest guilty pleasure in the note. Hope you enjoy it.

Dear Technology,

It has been a decade since you trespassed our simple and happy territory. Crawling all the way from the 19th century you finally established your roots in our sweet little world. You captured our hearts by assisting us in gathering the known lost hearts and souls and incidentally landing us in the unknown world of  addiction. We are happy to have you with us for making our lives easier, faster, more effective and efficient. You have intelligently supported us in covering our laziness.  

Technology, we must admit that you have been a great stress reliever. We appreciate the ample amount of time you spend with us, hardly allowing us to feel the absence of our near and dear ones and gradually stealing those emotions from us. You have showed us the way to kill those soft corners in our hearts. Your presence made us strong and practical.

We are also grateful for your 2G, 3G and many other creepy connections. Though irritating and time consuming, they have taught us the power of patience. Thank you for embracing us and guiding us to the world of solitude- a place full of wonder where virtual is real.

Thank you for being with us whenever we needed you. You deserve to be loved! 🙂

Secret Admirer!

We return home to discover a huge flower bouquet waiting for us, no card attached. Who is it from — and why did they send it to us?

The question is, was the flower bouquet waiting for us at the doorstep?

Secret Admirers? Oh Well!

We would love to be admired openly.

Secrecy carries a whole lot of questions and doubts in mind. What if the huge bouquet has a bomb! What if it sprays dirt! Is it from some secret lover of my spouse? Definitely secret admiration will carry some amount of jealousy. Who knows even enmity? Why allow us to fall prey to bewilderment? Why bother? Just let it go!

Flowers are best admired in the garden, in the open, blooming with fresh air.

And if someone admires us,  we will accept it, reciprocating even more of  admiration and respect to the admirer, but; it has to be directly on us. No mockery please!

If the bouquet is at home, then it is a sweet surprise and the secret would soon be revealed by the admirer! 🙂

No Thank You, Literary Witch.

Keep writing and spread the message of hard work, honesty and sincerity.

 A literary- minded witch gives us a choice: with the flick of the wand. We can become either an obscure novelist whose work will be admired and studied by a select few for decades, or a popular paperback author whose books give pleasure to millions.

We choose NONE! No MAGIC! No short-cuts! No greed! Though literary-minded, the witch will definitely have some form of evil in mind. Absolutely discarded! If writers begin to spread EVIL, where would this world head to? Words have the power to transform a world. We do not need any evil magic wand to gain admiration or popularity. What we desire is a beautiful world abundant with love, peace and harmony.

Whatever we are/will be writing would be the words coming directly from our heart, the hidden truths which we have been trying to explore and understand, and share with millions of people.

Sorry to disappoint you literary witch. 🙂
