Facebook Page “Sia Positive” is a new Initiative towards Harmony- discover the blend of Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual and Laughter; all in one platform- 🙂
Over the years we’ve almost reached a level, where we have learned to live in a state of harmony with the universe. Both our head and heart work together to create a unique and well-balanced “us”.
We have always been ardent enthusiasts and the energetic and fun-loving quality in us has assisted us to face the acute realities of life. We are impulsive, free-flowing and exciting and try to keep track of everything. We are spontaneous and never say no to any adventure. Often, we may end up surprising and even shocking people. But that’s just how we are!!
We always remain true and keep hunting for the truth. If something interests us, we will not rest until we have acquired a profound knowledge of that area.
When faced with a problem or a tough decision, we try to break things down and make a sensible choice. We have trained our heart such that we follow our gut when necessary. Though planning and discipline exist in our dictionary, there are instances when we love to throw in a little spontaneity.
An impulsive, but balanced outlook and approach to life creates the desire in us to not only understand the world, but to also mold it as we see fit. We have come to learn that our life becomes what we make out of it; and this has helped us in our endeavor to understand life from so many wonderful perspectives.
Join us, while we take you on a journey to Harmony- an excellent blend of Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual (not religious) and Laughter.
We happened to cross this biker and was delighted to see him take this cute family on a ride. See the three boxes of chicks! The rooster is indeed the guard. What better way can there be to describe love and affection for ones family?
If you are someone who loves Yellow, time to rejoice! You are not a dirty fellow. 🙂
Within the meaning of colors, yellow is perceived as a great communicator. Yellow is the color of the net-worker, working and communicating on a mental level. We share below two of our photographs that symbolizes yellow as a communicator. For details on the Colour Psychology visit: The Colour Yellow
The first thought that crossed our mind when we read about the topic for this week’s Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge:Open Topicwas that, we can select any topic of our choice with no restriction. But then, this is just one way of looking at this topic. The word “Open” carries other profound meanings as well.
This is indeed a challenge!
Photo shops can easily create a black and white picture. What we preferred to bring to our viewers was something original. We finally collected some of our photographs that were in Black and White and that could be related to the word ‘Open’.
The photographs we have shared were not edited and are in their original form.
Enjoy the real and original beauty of Black and White as we make an effort to relate it to the Open Topic.
1. The Passage
( open: adjective- allowing access, passage, or a view through an empty space; not closed or blocked)
Clouds give a passage to the final rays of the Sun to reach the Earth before dusk.
This photograph was taken in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand, India. An evening in Bhimtal. Very light shades of the blue and orange is also visible.
2. Spread the Light
(open: verb- unfold or be unfolded; spread out)
Sunrays unfolds and spreads out as the Earth starts a new day.
This photograph was clicked in a cloudy morning, from Almora Uttarakhand, India. We could not resist sharing this picture. Observe how a red ball of fire can open itself turning white and spreading light. Cannot think of a better way to represent ‘Open’.
3. The Truth
(open: adjective- exposed to the air or to view; not covered)
We are open minded when we have the courage to face the truth or accept the truth. So, what is the truth about life?
The truth is revealed by Nature- “there is light after every darkness.”
This photograph was taken in Munsiyari. The sun is seen rising behind the Panchachulli peaks. It was an awesome view as we observed the Himalayan peaks turn black as the Earth was giving way to sunshine.
4. Outdoor
(open: noun- outdoors or in the countryside.)
This is a view of a beautiful evening of Connaught Place, New Delhi, India. Many of the buildings in this area are white and the evening makes it a perfect view of black and white. The Sun is visible as a white ball.
5. The Open Challenge
(open: noun- a championship or competition with no restrictions on who may compete)
Black mountains and White patches of clouds in the sky with the white ball makes a perfect picture for The Open Black and White Challenge !
Hope you had a wonderful journey as you traveled through the immense beauty of Nature and could listen to what Nature had to Open up with. :-)
“Through this post we also take the opportunity to thank our readers and viewers for their incredible support.”
This post is all about our journey here in WordPress since July 2014 till December this day. The first day (July 14) with WordPress was quite monotonous as we had no idea what to do. But as we moved ahead in this journey, we managed to gather readers and viewers from every nook and corner of this world. And as we approach this New Year, we have high hopes of expanding our contribution to reach as many readers and viewers as possible trying to share our ‘share of life’.
The Other Side of the Story: Our first post. This post tried to compare the rich and poor from a different perspective.
Aww…. 😦
This looks so incomplete; without any picture or tags. No likes or comments either. But that did not de-motivate us. Probably because approval of others was not what we were seeking here.
9. July 16: THE FIRST VISITOR
Finally we were spotted by someone. Thank you Samoan Sword, for sparing the time to read our post. As we are academicians, this was what we thought would be beneficial to the society we are part of. Yes, Value Based Education System, the need of the hour! This post was all about the young learners who must be guided to shape their own mind so that they understand the importance of positive values and apply these values in their journey of life.
But how irresponsible of us! We did not even bother to reply back to this first visitor. We must have been busy customizing our Blog to make it attractive in the simplest way possible, trying to make it clearly visible and legible.
This post too carries no tags or pictures. It looks so dull ! However, this time we somehow learnt while experimenting with WordPress that we could share our posts in Facebook. And here we are with 45 likes! But none to like in WordPress still. But two of the bloggers did comment on this post. Thanks to Tammi Kale and susieshy45 for visiting our blog.
This was sufficient for us to keep us moving in this new world among strangers. We were enjoying this new experience playing with our own thoughts and feelings and sharing it with the world without the least expectation of being selected to publish our work.
Wonderful! Isn’t this an achievement in itself? Definitely yes! This, kind of boosted our enthusiasm and energy to devote more of our time in expressing how we feel about everything around us, trying to improve as we stepped ahead.
Will Power indeed matters !!
7. July 27: THE TURNING POINT
Something suddenly struck our mind. Being crazy travellers, we had that bulk of photographs with us that could not be utilised so far. And here was the opportunity to portray and share our experiences through our photographs. And there was this turning point! The Call of the Hills– Yes, our next post.
We decided to bring our writing skill and photography together in one platform and make our existence visible and possibly work towards the purpose of our life to spread the message of unity and peace.
And we came up with our first ever ‘wonder post’. We call it a ‘wonder post’ because it looks so lively. Even now as we opened it to include the link, it was so exciting to read our own experiences and bring back those memories back to life! It is an awesome feeling of getting lost in the sweet memories of the past treasures. And what is more incredible is that we could share it with the world! This is amazing! We really did it!
The breathless journey!
4 bloggers liked it and 17 likes from our Facebook friends. We believed we were doing great, at least we made ourselves feel so; no harm, isn’t it? And most important we found that magic wand!
6. July 28: THE PUSH AHEAD
Age is just a number: Our first ever entry to the Daily Post! It was short but was indeed a challenge. And it was like we discovered that silver lining in the cloud.
And our journey continues…
We continued posting at a stretch day and night. WordPress was our new love.
And here was the twist! The Daily Post and Weekly Challenges got us in its grip and we started relating our life experiences to the themes these challenges provided. It was a blessing in disguise to come up before the world as an example (good or bad). We did not have any trouble choosing what to post because there were already plenty before us, as if they were prepared to assist us in our endeavor.
Here are some of our posts that would definitely keep your eyes locked to the screen. We have numbered them in ascending order of likes by other bloggers.
Women and Men are both marvelous and inspiring creations of the Unseen Creator. They are different, yet meant to be together. They are opposite, yet they attract each other!
A Tale of the Good and the Bad brought together in this post. Find yourself lost in the ups and downs of your own life, trying to lift yourself up in the ladder of life as you scroll through the post.
We have created some of the wonderful memories of our life with WordPress- our readers and viewers! What more could we preserve from our life in 2014 than these memories and the pleasurable and marvelous conversations with strangers from all over the world. An achievement indeed ! 🙂

In response to the Challenges, we share below few of our photographs that actually describes the Way Of Life!
Here they are:
1. Beautiful
Clicked at Birla Institute of Applied Sciences, Bhimtal, Uttarakhand, India.
Our life is sometimes beautiful, straight, smooth, supportive (represented by the green tress, if you could not guess that) and with available directions to show us the way to our destination.
2. Indecisive
Clicked at Terrace Garden, Chandigarh, India.
In many instances life puts us in a situation where we are not sure which way to go; whom to follow, whom not to follow. The choice is ultimately ours!
3. Twists and turns
Clicked at India- Nepal Border (Dharchula in India and Darchula in Nepal)
Sometimes our life changes its direction as we climb up the path of growth. This is seen through the changes we undergo, in our thoughts, behaviour and way of living as we cross childhood, adulthood and old age.
4. Challenge
On way to Munsiyari, Uttarakhand, India.
Our life offers us many hurdles. These hurdles may be in the form of depression, rejection, fear or failure. It is up to us if we wish to go back, wait or go ahead and face the challenges.
5. Struggle
Inside Bijrani, Jim Corbett National Park, Ramnagar, India.
Life is not always smooth. (represented by the gravels on the road). Though we know the way, it demands hard work and patience as we move ahead.
6. Unsolved Mystery
On way to Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.
Finally, life is an unsolved mystery. However smooth or straight the way is, or far it may stretch, after a point it goes out of view. To relate, we are heading towards infinity, towards the unknown!
The Challenge : We’ve all been asked what five objects we’d take with us to a desert island. Now it’s your best friend’s (or close relative’s) turn to be stranded: what five objects would you send him/her off with?
The word that drew our attention is ‘stranded’. Interesting! Send our best friend or close relative to a desert island so he/she has no means to move from it? Is it a boon or a bane? And for how long?
Unless he/she is adventurous why would he/she wish to be stranded for no reason? And if he/she is adventurous, that would be a planned journey for him/her. So, assuming the journey to the desert island as one by choice, the necessary and sufficient things would already be taken care of by him/her. What we need to take care of are those things that may be missed out.
On a funny note, even we are not aware what we would send him/her with. So, let us find out together as we type down to come up with a post worth reading! Here it goes,
1. Set of papers sufficient to write down his/her experiences. So, the next time someone is stranded on a desert island, they would know how to deal with such experiences.
2. A box of pen to write down his/her “Island Diary”.
3. Numerable air tight bottles to keep his/her diaries safe from air and water.
4. A bestseller joke book. It is said that a book is one’s best friend. So what can be a better gift than a book to someone we love. Now we could give him/her any book. But what is the use of giving philosophical books to teach him/her lessons of life? He/she would not get out alive anyway! (We are not making fun of him/her. Remember? It was their choice! ) So we would rather choose a best seller joke book so that he/she can spend the rest of his/her life with laughing colours, not regretting the loneliness.
5. Finally, a traveler’s bag to fit in all the above mentioned things! Quite many, isn’t it? He/she will definitely have no idea about these things with which we would bid him/her adieu. So, a bag is a must.
We wish him/her a safe journey and a safe and happy life ahead in the island. Looking forward to those letters in the bottles, so we can come up with yet another post to share his/her experiences! 😉
(This was indeed interesting and we had fun playing the challenge!)
