The Challenge: Open the book you are reading right now (or a favourite if you aren’t reading anything, oh, and shame on you!), turn to page 33 (or 33% on e-readers) and write a super flash fiction about the first proper noun (person, place or thing) on the page!
One of our favourite book is “501 Must Visit Destinations”. We opened page 33 and the first proper noun we came across is Jozani Park.
The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is a 50 km2 (19 sq mi) national park of Tanzania located on the island of Zanzibar. It is the only national park in Zanzibar. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jozani_Chwaka_Bay_National_Park). it is the largest park of mature native forest remaining on the island following years of deforestation. The park offers a refuge for many types of mammals and nearly 200 species of birds.
Here is a super-short tale on Jozani Park. We thought of naming it “The Green Crown”.

Here I stand all alone;
In the island of Zanzibar,
Embraced by the reef limestone marine terrace.
Don’t cut me down or I drown,
Never to rise again and shelter you with my ‘Green Crown’.
